Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 June 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of whisperbridge (the "Service"), operated by Priyanshu Mittal, an individual based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

whisperbridge translates a live conversation between two people in real time, and can play the translation back in a clone of the speaker's own voice. Both people take part from their own device; there is nothing to install for the other person beyond a browser.

Translations are machine-generated and may be wrong. Do not rely on whisperbridge for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or emergency communication. You are responsible for verifying anything important.

3. Eligibility & where the Service is available

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these Terms for it.

The Service is not currently marketed or offered in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and is not directed at those regions. We may add support for them in future.

4. Your account

Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@whisperbridge.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Voice cloning — your voice only

If you use voice cloning, you may only create a clone of your own voice, or a voice you have explicit permission and the legal right to use. You must not clone or imitate anyone else's voice without their consent, impersonate any person, or use a cloned voice to deceive, defraud, or harm. We may suspend accounts that misuse cloning.

6. Consent of the other person

Because the Service processes the speech of both participants, you are responsible for ensuring the other person consents to taking part and to having their speech translated. Laws on recording and processing conversations differ by country and region — complying with the ones that apply to you is your responsibility.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass or harm anyone, transmit unlawful or abusive content, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or exceed or circumvent usage limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your data — including the fact that voice is biometric data we process only with your explicit consent — is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Availability & changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a translation. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms — including any unauthorised voice cloning or recording.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability, indemnity) continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
